Drake and I met in high school. Coming from a small school, we knew who each other were, but had never talked before. My senior/his junior year we had anatomy class together. I noticed him first and got his snapchat from mutual friends. We started snapchatting and texting, and I quickly found out this guy was weird. What I thought was weird at the time was actually just him being sweet. ♡ I received 'good morning beautiful' and 'good night beautiful' texts all the time! Since I thought this was weird, I stopped talking to him for a couple months...
Luckily a girl who was in my dissection group in anatomy was on vacation, so we pulled Drake in. Here's where I started to think he was alright. 😉 I'm not really sure how or why it happened, but this brought our very first picture together. Drake was down on one knee, proposing to me with a valve to a pig heart or something gross like that. (At that time I NEVER thought he would be proposing to me in the future with a beautiful diamond ring!)

From that dissection day on, we continued to be friends and talk. Our mutual friends talked us into going to prom together, and the relationship took off from there. After 5 years of dating, Drake popped the question while we were in Chicago for an Eric Church concert. I had my suspicions, but was ultimately so surprised he finally took the leap! I can't wait to marry this man in front of all of our family & friends and spend the rest of my life with him and Hazel. ♡
